Hello
my name is Steve Willlis
I got started in glass marble making back in 2003 after years
of thinking how i could get to do my art work. From drawing
,painting and working with clay i just never found a good vein
to display my work then i was looking on ebay for old
marbles . See i always liked marbles as a kid and had allot of
them from digging old bottle dumps and finding them at
auctions. Well long story short.
I seen some contemporary marble for sale on ebay.
"wow" i said that cool !!
I looked at my wife and said i think i can do this.
So i got a small hot head torch and some other glass tools and
gave it a try.
Well let me tell you i was so happy to see the glass move like i
did.
That meant That i could make it move like i wanted it to
move and i could create just like my other art work.
From That time on it's never been the same. My hope of
working in some kind of art was here.
Now i can take this medium and work for the rest of my life
in something That i feel so strong about the need to create.
So when you look at my contemporary art marbles and other
works in glass. I hope you see That i got a lot love to create.
After marble after marble i try to make keep it fresh
with new designs and creations to keep you looking and see
what i see when I'm creating with glass.
